How to Eat a Healthy Breakfast

Get a Good Start to Your Day Now!

Brad Wood
Many of you, I can most certainly and confidently say, are very fond of breakfast. However, others are certainly not, and therefore are a weaker link in the chain of humanity. Well, I'm kidding - sort of. Breakfast, for those of you who do not know, is by far the most important meal throughout the day. And, while I believe that eating healthily is very critical to not only your health but also your daily performance, this article is not intended to instruct you on how to eat healthily; rather, simply the idea or principle of having breakfast each morning, and making it part of your daily routine.

So, why is breakfast so important? Well, to start with, it is the food and nutrients that will not only get your body going in the morning, but also gets your metabolism flowing. Otherwise, you are not as awake, nor are you going to perform at the same level if you were to have eaten breakfast. Additionally, what you eat for breakfast is very important to your health. Some people simply eat donuts, or a bagel with cream cheese, or something like that.

What they are not paying attention to, is what they're putting in their body. Take donuts for example - donuts are comprised mainly of carbohydrates (fatty ones), and sugar. Neither of these so called "nutrients" is a good way to start your day, and therefore almost is counterproductive and hurtful. So, what is good to eat for breakfast? Protein. Yes, that is right. Protein is by far the best nutrient one can eat for breakfast, as it not only fuels you but also gets your brain working. So, before a big interview, or before a test, it is critical that you have a good breakfast. Perhaps eggs, or pancakes... fruit or yogurt (low-fat if you're picky, and sugar free preferably).

So, now that the importance of breakfast has been clearly covered and articulated well in this article, it is time to put it into effect. Not only will your health increase, but I guarantee that you will see a difference with performance over a course of several days of eating breakfast. So, give it a try? What can it hurt? Nothing. Good luck.
