Recycled Inkjet Printer Cartridges- The ideal choice
Using inexpensive ink cartridges is more economical and efficient as replacement cost of an ink cartridge is very high, in fact more than the cost of the printer itself. The number of cartridges needed for a printer depends on the model of the printer present and you may need to buy a minimum of six types of cartridges if the colors needed come in separate cartridges.
In general it is not advisable to buy the cartridge from the printer manufacturer as they always quote high prices. You can opt for a compatible or generic ink cartridge which is not manufactured by the printer company and hence is considerably cheaper. But the cheapest option available is the purchase of a recycled or remanufactured inkjet cartridge.
Further if you purchase the remanufactured inkjet cartridge from places other than the manufacturer, you get to save a lot of money. In fact most of your printing cost will be saved by purchasing this way. Whether the printing to be done is a small amount or there are differences in the type of printing done, the remanufactured cartridges save quite a lot of money in the span of one year itself.
Moreover for people who want an economical production cost and those who are die-hard environmentalists, the recycled cartridges are the best choice. In cases of lots of printing to be done, the recycled ones will save three fourths of the total cost of ink used. Recycled cartridges are cartridges that are used again and again by refilling them with new ink when the old one wears off.
A tiny syringe is used to fill the ink cartridges effectively in case of recycled ones. On the other hand the remanufactured cartridges are cleaned, refurbished and tested before the new ink is filled in them. Both the recycled and remanufactured ones are very beneficial economically and environmentally than the purchase of a brand new cartridge from the company directly.
Toner cartridges for laser printers:
Toner cartridges for laser printers are another type of inkjet cartridges other than the usual black and colored cartridges. Similar to the inkjet cartridges these can be recycled or remanufactured to save the additional cost accrued by purchasing a new cartridge. The toner cartridge can also be purchased from a manufacturer other than the printer company.
In the present scenario, the use of generic inkjet and toner cartridges is considered as the intelligent choice rather than opting for the costlier branded ones. By choosing the recycled or remanufactured inkjet or toner cartridges you can save a lot of money and if you are involved in a large amount of graphics or photo printing, you get to save more. Moreover they are environment friendly which is an added advantage for their continued usage.
