You can also strengthen your immune system by exercising. The importance of having a strong immune system goes beyond cancer, you will also prevent other diseases and complications and you will develop a stronger hearth and lose weight while you are at it. Join a sports team, a gym, martial arts club, or just run or walk in your park; this will make wonders to your body.

Your habits also play an important role in cancer. Harmful habits such as excessive drinking or smoking are factors of cancer themselves. It is well known that smoking dramatically increases your chances of developing not only lung cancer, but also other respiratory diseases. Excessive drinking is a factor that contributes to stomach cancer and is even believed to increase the incidence of breast cancer in woman. You need to develop the will to quit or at least reduce gradually these habits. The result is worth the effort.

Cancer is one of the biggest health problems in our modern society, so we must do everything possible to prevent it. The tips above are just general guidelines that will help you prevent this disease, but you should do additional research to find more ways to prevent it.
