How to Make Elegant Wine Glass Charms

These wine glass charms not only look great, but play an important role. By placing a different charm onto each glass, your guests will able to distinguish which glass is theirs. Materials:

Different color beads (any size)
24 gauge craft wire
wire cutters

Directions:

Cut a piece of the wire approximately 5" long. You won't need to use this much wire, it just makes it easier to work with. Using the tips of the wire cutters, bend one end of the wire to form a tiny loop. Now thread the beads onto the wire, in the order you would like them to be. After you have placed the beads on the wire, curl it into a circle around the base of the wine glass stem to determine the size your wine glass charms will need to be. Take the wire cutters and snip off the excess wire, leaving just enough wire to make a u-shaped hook on the end.

Now curl the two ends together, to shape the wine glass charms into a circle. To attach the wine glass charms to the wine glasses, just open the two ends and place them around the stems on the glasses. Push the ends close together and wrap the hook over the loop.

Hints: Use different color beads for each glass, to distinguish them from one another. To make your wine glass charms even more unique, add a different silver or gold charm to the center of the beads when crafting your wine glass charms.

Just purchase a small organza bag from the craft store, place at least 6 or 8 wine glass charms inside and drape the bag over the bottle neck with the bag ties.You could also purchase a set of wine glasses, attach the wine glass charms and present them as a gift.
