How to Enhance Blue Eyes

Who does not love baby blues? I mean blue eyes are both rare and gorgeous! If you have blue eyes you do not want to hide them. Let them shine. If you are unsure of how to make your blues pop and reveal themselves to the world around, read on and I will have some makeup tricks for you.

First when you do your makeup, you want to think of complementary colors to blue. My best advice to you would be to use bronze, copper, dark coffee, and lighter creams and silvers. Now here comes the difficult part; applying the makeup in specific order to get the right "pop" affect.

Step 1: Let's start of with opening your eyes. Apply a light coat of white eye liner to the inner part of your bottom eye lid. You do not want this color to be too dramatic because it would look fake. A light coat should do.

Step 2: Now take a brown mascara and put one coat on your upper lashes. Allow that coat to dry for a couple minutes and then apply another light coat. Make sure you comb out your lashes with a lash brush so they do not clump together.

Step 3: Take an eye shadow brush and lightly tap the tip of the brush to "dark coffee" eye shadow. Now, gently brush the shadow in a thin horizontal line right above your upper lashes. Blend it in there good. You do not want there to be any skin showing. Do this very lightly to the lower lashes as well. You do not want the line to be as thick as the upper lash line, though.

Step 4: Now take a "copper" shadow and apply a medium thick coating on your entire eye lid. Brush it lightly up toward the brow on the outter corner of your eye. Do this to both eyes and then move on.

Step 5: Now you can use a light cream or silver/white color to brush onto your brow bone. Do this to both eyes. Lightly dust the silver/white shadow under the dark coffee that you placed on your lower lashes. This will help enhance your eyes.

Step 6: Use your eye shadow brush again to lightly dust the dark coffee shadow in the crease of your eyes. This is the line that you get when you open your eye. It will be located in between the brow bone and lid.

If you would like a truly dramatic appearance, you can apply Demure false-brown eyelashes. These lashes will open your eye wider and make them appear bigger. Also, you can apply a light coat of brown mascar to the lower lashes.
