How to Enjoy Haggis for Less Than 3 Pounds Sterling
A Short Article on How to Enjoy Haggis Inexpensively
For example, in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, microwavable haggis can be purchased at your local Tesco store. Depending on which brand you get, the full-size haggis can cost anywhere between one pound sterling to three pounds sterling. There is also a canned version available. I'm not sure what types of preservatives go into a canned haggis, but you're welcome to try it and let me know how it tastes.
Getting a microwavable haggis ready to be served is quite simple. Depending on the brand and the packaging, the steps may vary, but the general idea is still the same.
You will first want to let the microwavable haggis defrost. You can do this by setting it in some warm water or microwaving it for a few minutes. You will then want to cut open the package and place the haggis in a bowl or on a plate. Make sure the plate or bowl is clean and microwavable. Heat up the haggis by microwaving it.
If you did not defrost the haggis enough, you may hear popping sounds during the final heating process. In any case, it is always best to check the microwave after the haggis is done heating up to see if you have left any mess. You will not want to clean the microwave next time, as the mess will be more difficult to clean up after.
Some brands may suggest and/or allow you to use an oven to heat up the haggis. Read the instructions on the label of the package of the haggis to check how to prepare the haggis of your choice.
Since you are using a microwave, you can add some microwavable vegetables to your meal. This can cost just one more pound to get your daily serving of vegetables in while enjoying some inexpensively made haggis.
