How I Entertain My Son on a Budget

Entertaining one kid or multiple kids on a budget can be pretty easy. You can figure out things to do depending upon your budget and what your Family likes.

We had to wait 2 days for our paycheck to come in and my Husband was out of town. My son and I were extremely bored we needed something to do and fast. We tried playing table games and good guys bad guys, but that got really boring after awhile.

I noticed there was a place for videos on our Comcast on Demand box. My son who is 5 and I decided on a video to watch. We started singing and dancing, we did this straight for about an hour. I noticed as I am flying around the room singing to my hearts content my son was sitting down. I asked what's wrong why aren't you singing with me, this is fun. He looked me straight in the eye and said, 'Mom, you sing real bad.'

I was a little shocked but he is right I sing really badly. He has asked me multiple times to please quit singing. I picked a video out for him and he got up and started to sing and dance. I sat the rest of this out even though my singing is bad I still had a lot of fun.
