In everyday life, we come across toxins and impurities every where we turn. Our medicines have side-effects and the cleaners we use in our home can be detrimental to our health. There are toxins everywhere. Our quality of life can be seriously affected.

We wonder why we are always sick-. The stress in our life has a bad enough effect on our mood and quality of life. Other toxins and impurities such as free-radicals also negatively impact our bodies.

It is time to take steps to improve your own quality of life. How can we improve our mood and energy? How can we boost our immunity? The answer may be as simple as turning to essential oils for answers. Essential oil can have many uses. First, it is important to understand what essential oil is.

What are essential oils? An essential oil's contents are derived from plants. The contents are stored in stems, flowers, leaves and bark and they protect the plant from harmful bacteria, molds, and other micro-organisms. The appropriate contents are combined to form the particular essential oil. Essential oils can also be combined to form an essential oil blend.

If essential oils are good for plants, are they also good for us? Absolutely. Did you know that a single essential oil contains products that are perfectly lined up to trigger a certain response from the human body? Many chiropractors and other medical professionals use essential oils for treatment as well as consumers who seek a treatment free of prescription or other drugs.

Essential oil blend recommended to improve mood. There are many companies who sell essential oils, however, I use "Young Living" essential oils. I know that this company produces therapeutic-grade products. One of my favorite Young Living products is "Joy." Joy is an essential oil blend that smells wonderful and was created to bring "joy" to your heart. I wear it as a perfume. The website said it was created to promote romance and togetherness. This essential oil blend can be used worn as a perfume as well as diffused. It contains single essential oils such as ylang ylang, rosewood and geranium. Joy is my favorite essential oil blend. I use this essential oil blend every day. I apply the essential oil blend to my pulse points and behind my ears, as well as over my heart.

Essential oils that improve energy. Young Living's essential oil blend, motivation, contains ylang ylang, lavender, chamomile and spruce. This essential oil blend was designed to combat fear and procrastination which helps you move in a positive direction. I find that the scent is definitely pleasant and uplifting.

I also use Peppermint essential oil which helps with my asthma and other respiratory problems. This, in turn, helps me when I am having a lack of energy. As well as other methods, peppermint essential oil can be applied to the pulse points or directly on the skin over the lungs. Peppermint essential oil also helps sooth an upset stomach and helps with the pain of a headache. For upset stomach, apply a couple drops directly to the stomach and to your temples. Application of this essential oil to your temples also helps combat a headache.

Essential oils that help with immunity. ImmuniPower essential oil blend was designed to increase positive energy and protect your body from free radicals.

Longevity is a blend of essential oils that are the most powerful antioxidants known. It helps lesson the damage caused by free-radicals. This is also one of my favorite blends and definitely a must.

Thieves is also an essential oil blend that I use to combat a sore throat. I also use the Thieves toothpaste which does a great job of cleaning as well as making teeth whiter. Thieves essential oil blend is a must!

The use of essential oils has been around for centuries. My advice is to try essential oil products and find the ones that work best for your particular needs. Young Living's essential oils such as "Longevity," "Joy" and others can improve health, quality of life, mood, energy and boost immunity.

Pregnant women should consult a doctor before using any essential oils or essential oil products. All essential oils should be used only as directed.
