I recently found myself in this situation.
1. If a small bit of the key is showing, grab it with a pair of needle nose pliers. Maybe your neighbor has a pair!.
2. If you can't reach it that way then borrow some superglue and with a toothpick apply a thin amount to the edge of the broken key in your hand.
3. Inset the head of the key into the lock so that the broken edges of the key come together. Do not get any of the glue on any other part! this is important!
4. Hold the key in place firmly for at least 4 minutes to allow the glue to dry and bond the two broken pieces.
5. Very carefully extract the key from the lock. Do not twist or turn the key because this may break the bond between pieces.
6. If you can't do either of these then do call a Locksmith as they will have the right tool for the job.
7. Good luck!
