Tip No.1 Eat Healthily.
A healthy, regular and balanced diet can help you deal with the daily imperatives calmly and easily. While you take a meal, you should eat slowly and chew the food thoroughly which help you avoid wasting unnecessary energy to digest the food.
Tip No.2 Slow down.
Running around and wanting everything, but doing nothing well, can cause unnecessary stress. When you see that you start hurrying unnecessarily, you should force yourself to slow down.
Tip No.3 Take some breaks at times.
Sometimes slowing down is not enough. When you feel confused about certain thing and you don't see where it goes, the best thing to do is to take a pause and do some reflecting. For example, during the busy office time, you can take a 10-minute coffee break. Drink a cup of hot coffee and take this moment to relax your mind a little bit.
Tip No.4 Prepare in advance.
Procrastination is a huge source of stress. By facing procrastinations frequently, you may find yourself in a situation of permanent emergency. To avoid pushing yourself to a corner, you should always act as soon as possible, for example, if you know you need to start a new project next week, why not starting to collect information for this project immediately. When you are well-prepared, you'll feel relaxed during the rest of time, and get better results calmly.
Tip No.5 Don't try to control everything.
Anyway, it's impossible to control everything. No matter about your employees, your students or your children, the sooner you accept that something always goes out of your control, the less stressed you feel. Seeing things from this angle, you will learn to guide people rather than control them.
Tip No.6 Do one thing at a time.
Doing several things at the same time can give you an impression of being productive and useful. However, it's impossible to juggle among multiple jobs, and do all of them well. When you work on something, put on the blinder and cut the rest. For example, when you start to write an article, turn off the TV and stop talking on phone. Furthermore, you should learn how to manage interruptions effectively.
Tip No.7 Avoid the annoying people.
There are people who can't help making the world confusing right and wrong. It's like that. These people may need help, but sometimes it is more beneficial for you that you should slam the door in their face. You should avoid approaching these people.
Tip No.8 Spend time with the people you love.
Sometimes when you work too much, you feel guilty of neglecting your family. Remember that people you love are more important than your job. When you feel stressed, you can give a call to your family or your good friends to chat with them casually and express your feeling freely.
