how can i feel so lost?
year one: i can't walk yet
one month later, i learn to talk
a day after that, i graduate
in the next hour, i say goodbye to my parents forever
in the minute that follows, i have to retire
and finally, in my last second, i die.
life's funny.
i can predict all these events,
and i know with certainty that they'll pass.
but i never know how i'll get from one to the next.
life is like a subway;
i know where its stations are, but i don't know the complete route.
except with life, no one can get off
until the final stop.
