Nobody wants to get older much less feel older than we are. However, it's better than the alternative. Our mental attitude toward aging is an important factor in staying and feeling young. The first signs of aging for many of us are a noticeable difference in physical strength, sleep patterns, and appetite. There are things we can do to help ourselves age better and feel younger. The best time to start doing these things is today.

Here are some tips to help make you feel younger in 90 days.

1. Stop smoking. Smoking causes one in five deaths in the United States, claiming 438,000 lives annually. Smoking is linked to an increase in bone loss and smoking causes your skin to age prematurely. Quit smoking and you will feel better and have more energy.

2. Take a multivitamin. A complete multivitamin taken along with a calcium supplement helps ensure you are getting your daily nutrients.

3. Take Omega 3 supplements. Omega 3's help maintain looker looking skin by keeping skin cells moist and strong. Other benefits include: reduces inflammation, may help alleviate depression, lower blood pressure, reduce heart disease risk and improve mental functions.

4. Exercise regularly. You don't have to work out an hour everyday to get the benefits of exercise. Just getting moderate levels such as a 30-minute walk a day increases your physical stamina and helps prevent many health problems.

5. Reduce stress. Today's hectic lifestyle causes stress. Minimize stress by prioritizing tasks, delegating to others and getting plenty of sleep and exercise.

6. Go to bed early. Not getting enough sleep at night can accelerate aging. Loss of sleep can cause obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure and memory loss. It is very important for your overall health to get seven to eight hours of sleep every night.

7. Eat Healthy. Fruits and vegetables offer plenty of protection from aging. Blueberries are an excellent source of antioxidants and provide anti-aging effects. Reduce sugar intake and increase fruit and vegetable consumption.

8. Be optimistic. A positive mental outlook has been associated with a longer lifespan.

9. Maintain a healthy weight. Carrying extra fat is bad for your health, leading to serious health problems. Being overweight leads to health problems such as Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, cancer and sleep apnea. Lower your risk of chronic diseases by maintaining a healthy weight.

10. Enjoy life. Laughing and enjoying your life helps to reduce stress, builds up your immune system and makes you look and feel younger. Be happy!
