Anxiety is a common problem due to stressful working conditions, personal conflicts and pressure in many aspects of life. The most effective way of dealing with anxiety is simple though. More exercise means that every symptom caused by anxiety attacks are reversed. Your body releases endorphins during exercise; endorphins are hormones that cause you to feel good. After exercising, endorphins are what are responsible for giving the good feeling and "high" feeling after participating in physical activity.

With all of the complaints of stress being made these days in comparison to times past, one might ask why reports of stress and anxiety attacks are so high. This is due to the fact that most people these days live sedentary lifestyles and most people do not exercise regularly. In older times, people walked rather than drive cars as transportation. Physically traveling to engage in communication has been partially overrode by the advent of technological devices such as cell phones. Because of changes such as this, physical activity has been taken out of normal day-to-day activities. Don't let yourself fall into the habit of telling yourself that you will start exercising the next day. Start today, as this kind of attitude will only drag you down further and increase the anxiety you experience in your life.

In order to adapt to these changes and begin relieving yourself of stress, you should begin exercising immediately. It doesn't matter at which level you begin, as long as you've started at all. Exercise every day, without any exceptions. The only time you have an excuse to not get any physical activity in your day is if you're sick and it's not physically possible for you to do so. If you're not the kind of person who likes to work out at a gym, then go for a brisk walk daily. Stress is greatly reduced as you begin exercising.

The shoes you wear while exercising should be comfortable. Make sure that while walking you keep up a brisk pace and make sure to sweat a little. As you begin to become conditioned to exercise more and more, increase the time you daily spend doing it. With every day that goes by, you will discover that stress and the related problems, such as anxiety attacks, lessen. You should expect to experience a general feeling of well-being in your life as you begin to make physical activity a habit and integrate it into your life.
