#1- Sign in to your WordPress.com account. If you don't have one, go to WordPress.com and sign up. It's completely free.
#2- Click on Global Dashboard. It's on the upper, left hand corner of the screen once you're signed in.
#3- Click on profile. This is different from the regular profile on the regular dashboard. You must click on Global Dashboard, followed by the main Profile button.
#4- Your API Key is at the top of the screen below the dashboard. It's in rather small type, so look to the right of "My Picture" and just above "Personal Options".
And that's all there is too it. Now you know where to find it when your WordPress.org plugins tell you to enter your API key.
