How to Find Coupons on Products You Use All the Time

Joyce
When it comes to coupons, one of the biggest complaints I hear is that there are no coupons for products someone likes or uses regularly. Checking Sunday's newspaper coupon supplement you will see cookies, junk food, processed foods, what about the people who want to eat healthy or do not want pre-packaged foods and like to take their time cooking, where are coupons for breads, spices, oils and all the ingredients you need to start a great meal, how about coupons for a drink other than kids juices? Well, it is very simple to get these coupons!

First step, check the manufacturer website. Most companies now have printable coupons on their website. You can do a quick google search for the product or company that makes it to find their website, many products will have their website listed right on the product. Simply go to the website, if you do not see any printable coupons then find the "email us" or " contact us" tabs and send a quick note. Something along the lines of how much you love their product and do they have any coupons available. Usually the company will send you coupons for a small amount off or the product or even free! Some people seem to have more luck writing in and just raving about how much they love the product and NOT asking for coupons, since a lot of companies do have coupons, even if it is only every few months you see it in the paper instead of the same coupons you see weekly, they may respond that they do offer coupons occasionally in the Sunday paper and to keep an eye out. So the choice is yours. I always ask for coupons in my email and 99% of the time get some sent to me.

If you do find printable coupons, the new problem now is that many grocery stores will not take printable coupons anymore or will only accept them under a certain amount. If this is the case, email the company, to let them know your local store will not accept printables, they will almost always send you a hard copy of the coupon and sometimes even extras! Another thing to do, is to keep your eyes open! I talk about this here in another post, at your grocery store, drug stores, even some big box stores they will occasionally put coupons in their turn-styles, where you would grab the weekly sales flyer, if you see someone giving out samples of products they are almost always giving away coupons to, many packages will have coupons attached that peel right off. A lot of times these are coupons you do not normally see in the newspaper or even printable from a website.

All in all, if you want to save money with coupons and never seem to find any for the products you use regularly, just take a few seconds of time to email the company, and chances are you will get some coupons to save the money you did not think you could save!
