How to Find Dead Banners in Cash Crusader Scripts

Angel
Cash Crusader scripts is the most popular script used on the get paid to read websites. It is easy to use and well worth the cost. The person who wrote Cash Crusader script is John Orjias and will cost anywhere from $70 -$90 all depending where you purchase it from.

Running a paid to read website, members can send in banner links that may end up dead over time. Websites look bad with many dead banners running, and it is a waste to the member who redeemed the ads to not receive what they paid for. It took me a while to find a quick method of locating dead banners running through my site. Notifying members to check their own ad stats resulted in little or no replies at all. Therefore, I was left hunting and pecking myself through over 100,000 rotating banner ads. Feeling swamped with work, and crossed eyed from reloading each and every link to see if it was that banner, or not I sat back and thought, "There had to be an easier way." and there is.

Simply go to any page upon your website that you are running Cash Crusader banners on. Take your mouse, and move it over the banner that is running on that page on your web site. Down at the bottom of Firefox, or Internet Explorer on the left hand side you will see the address of that Cash Crusader banner location. Pay close attention to BA= #. The number that follows the BA= is the location of the banner in the Cash Crusader script. After you have found the number of a dead banner, go to your Cash Crusader admin section, and rotating banner ads section. Type the number into the search and it will pull up that banner, simply edit, or delete the dead banner. NOTE: If your terms of service have something about members being asked to take care of their dead ads, and after a certain amount of time of being asked, you have every right to delete them. This will keep your site looking clean, and neat.

It might be educational for your members to be made aware of this, so they can help report dead banners too. Perhaps run a contest, the person who reports the most dead banners wins something. This would be beneficial to both you the webmaster, and your members. Finding dead banners in Cash Crusader scripts is a lot easier then you think, especially if you have a lot of them running.
