How to Find Deals on the Internet

Why Pay Full Price for Anything?

Lee Wright
You should never pay full price for anything if you don't have to. Using coupons can save tons of money. You can find some great deals shopping on-line. There are loads of sites offering everything imaginable at incredible discounts. Learn to search the web for sales and discounts.

When you grocery shop, pay attention to the front of the store, you can find manufacturer's coupons books and store coupon books with tens of dollars of discounts. Check your local newspaper for store sales. Stores will frequently accept both a manufacture's coupon and their store coupon on the same item. You can get many items free or almost free this way. Find an on-line coupon club to trade coupons or sell them on ebay for cash. You might be surprised how quickly the money can add up from selling coupons.

When you shop on the Internet check sites like dealnews.com or reatailmenot.com for great sales or online coupons. If you have access to a computer printer, you can print out some great coupons from a site like redplum.com or smartsource coupons.

Many companies have a coupon link on their homepage where you can print coupons or request that they send you savings booklets. These are frequently published several times a year and if you match these coupons with store sales you can get some great deals. There are a number of online communities and boards dedicated to posting freebie deals people have found.

If you find a good deal online take it to your local store and they will frequently match the price. This can save shipping costs and is more convenient for larger items, especially if you have a problem later. If you do buy larger items online look for free shipping deals. Many sites offer free shipping if you spend so much or use a certain kind of credit card.

If you are nervous about using your credit card online apply for a card that will give safe credit card numbers for online shopping. You can go the credit card company's secure website and generate one-time use numbers linked to your account. So if your information on smaller company's site is compromised, the number is useless.

There are tons of great deals out there. Just do a little research and paying full price will be a thing of the past.
