How to Find Direction When You Have None

Are you constantly telling yourself, "I have no direction in my life at all." This is a very common response question for many people all over the world. We live in a fast paced society where everyone wants something to happen right now. We want the perfect job now and our dream house now. We do not want to wait ten years or even two years to get what we want right now. Did you know that people all over the world can find exactly what they are looking for if they stop and take a look at what they really want?

People usually find some doubt as to getting what they truly want out of life. Many people that want to start a business may tell themselves, "I cannot start this business because I do not have enough money to do so or nobody will like my idea." People usually destroy themselves before they even get started building any type of business. A lack of direction is caused by people not believing that they can do something. In every human being, we have a dream. We begin this dream when we are young children. Some children dream of becoming actors or actresses. Some think about becoming cops, lawyers and doctors. There are children that want to grow up and join the circus or become a cashier. Yes, children want to be something from all walks of life. As we grow older, reality sets in and sometimes we forget our dreams of what we really always wanted to be. This can often get dangerous for us because we are supposed to have faith in God to take us there.

We must never give up on our dream because if we do, then the world will never be able to benefit from our ideas and we will never fulfill out destiny. What would have happened if Henry Ford stopped trying to create an automobile or if Thomas Edison stopped trying to create electricity? Perhaps we would still not have an automobile or electricity. These men had direction and they also had no money when they got started in their projects. People did not believe that their ideas were possible or that they could even exist. When we believe in ourselves and accept that God will make the way for us, then we truly can understand that we will have some sort of direction in our lives.

Right now you have lost your direction because you gave up on an idea that you wanted to fulfill. You must go back to this idea and try to re-create ways in which you can make it possible for you to accomplish this idea. "God will make the way when their seems to be no way."

Try and remember that direction is only given to you by God when you show him that you are at least trying to make possible the dream that he has put into your heart. You know what you want deep down inside of your heart, now you must go after it. There would be no such thing as the computer if Bill Gates gave up on his dream and there would be no such thing as Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers if Dave Thomas gave up on his dream as well. You may not be the person that gets all of the glory from your dream. Peter the apostle did not get to live to see what the Catholic church is today. However, we can see that it is one of the largest churches in the world.

Sometimes God puts ideas in our head so that we can start them. We do not necessarily have to live to see it come to life in full, but you may be helping someone else to see their dream come true from what you already had started.
