How to Find Your Dream Wedding Flowers in Port Townsend, Washington

RooneyGirl
I got married in Port Townsend, Washington in August of 2007. Port Townsend is a lovely town on the coast of Washington state with a distinctive Victorian flair, making it a popular choice for weddings. Because it is fairly remote, however, most of the wedding that take place here are "destination weddings." While these are exciting for the guests and those getting married, the logistics of planning can drive even the most patient of brides a little bit crazy.

I spent hours researching the different flower shops, options, costs and arrangements, and found that no matter what your wedding flower vision or budget, the bouquet of your dreams is available for you in Port Townsend.

Safeway (360) 385-2806
I know - a grocery store. That was my first thought, too! Don't be put off by the grocery-chain name, though. I saw the options that Safeway had available at the 2007 Port Townsend Wedding Show, and I was amazed. From simple daisy bouquets up to hand-tied rose bouquets, and amazing arrangements, there is no limit to what you can have. If you can dream it, Cathy from Safeway can achieve it - and at an incredibly affordable price.

Holly's Fine Flowers (360) 385-5428
Holly's Fine Flowers is located in downtown Port Townsend and Holly does a beautiful job with everything from cascading rose bouquets all the way to gorgeous
calla lily centerpieces. Her wedding flowers are always done tastefully and with exquisite attention to detail, and each of her weddings are unique - she definitely
listens to her brides! She is a bit more expensive, but the results are worth it.

Petals Flower Boutique (360) 385-5289
Petals Flower Boutique is also located in downtown Port Townsend and specialized in weddings; as such, they have excellent relationships with nearly everyone
at every wedding venue in Port Townsend. They have amazing flowers and options available and also carry rental items, such as wedding arches, pedestals, and
virtually anything else you will need for your wedding. They are also a bit more expensive than Safeway, but are worth every penny.

Which one did this bride choose? I ended up going with Safeway, because I was having a simple outdoor wedding, and Cathy was able to provide the wedding flowers
of my dreams - Gerber daisies, hand-tied, with a wild explosion of color - at a cost of $300.00. I'm not kidding. This included my bouquet, 3 corsages for mothers, and 4
bridesmaid bouquets. No matter what your Port Townsend Wedding vision, however, your dream is easily within reach.

A super round up of locations for wedding flowers as well as your own reviews of each one, even down to the sales people. Loved it!
