How to Find False Information in the Bible and Learn the Truth About Wicca

How to: know false information about Wiccans when you see it.

Today there are many websites that claim to know all about Wicca. Even Christians seem to know it all. But yet they call Wiccans devil worshipers. In a website I found written by a Christian who is not by any means educated on the Wicca religion has written some very false information. This is the website you will hear me refer to many times in this article.

In a quote taken from the website Jesus-is-savior.com "If you are NOT serving the Lord Jesus Christ, you are serving the Devil whether you realize it or not".

Who are you to say who worships the devil or not? If we don't believe in his existence we can not nor will we ever worship him. I personally believe he is an entity made up by silly people to scare kids into being good little children. We believe more in the belief that if you do harm to others this bad karma will return to you threefold.

It is silly to say in my opinion, that if you repent for murdering or raping some one that "God" will forgive you and welcome you with open arms into this place the Christians call heaven. In life we all have to be punished for what we do and repenting will not wash away the harm you have inflicted on that person and their family.

Once again quoting www.jesus-is-savior.com"There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter,OR A WITCH" (Deuteronomy 18:10).

What is missing here is the fact that one of Jesus disciples was a magi.

In English, the term "magi" is most commonly used in reference to the Gospel of Matthew's "wise men from the East", or "three wise men" (though that number does not actually appear in Matthew's account, and various sources placed the number anywhere between two and twelve).[citation needed] The plural "magi" entered the English language around 1200, in reference to the Biblical magi of Matthew 2:1. The singular appears considerably later, in the late 14th century, when it was borrowed from Old French in the meaning magician together with magic. This information was quoted from en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magi. In fact if you want to get really touchy on the subject Jesus very well could have been considered a magus himself. Since he performed miracles; like healing the sick and curing the blind. Wiccans around the world have practiced healing, protection, and other various activities like he did. So before you condemn us for helping others and minding our own business do your research and you will find that we are not evil and we can probably quote your bible better than a Christian can. Why is that because we want accurate information not false information before we run our mouths?

When you can't say anything nice it is best to say nothing at all but I am so fed up with the information people put on the intranet and support it like they are telling the truth and call us devil worshippers and that is wrong to do. Just because we have a different belief than yours does not give you the right to say your belief is neither the only way nor the permission to say it is the right way. Many have died in the name of Christianity than all wars combined but yet one of the Ten Commandments says thou shalt not murder. So who is really the devil worshipper?
