How to Find More Articles at Associated Content

Tutorial for Additional Article Finding

Do it backwards. That is more or less, skim through the articles of a writer Z to A style, instead of A to Z style.

When you get to a writer's profile page, scroll down to the bottom of the page, assuming there are article titles on the page to skim through. If you see [1] Next. Click Next. Then scroll to the bottom of the page again. If you see [2] Next. Click Next and repeat the same process until you get to the page that does not have the word next after the number.

Now that you have verified, you are on the last page of articles written by a writer, skim from the bottom of the page up until you have found an article you want to view. After you view an article and have rated or commented on it, select the go back arrow until you get back to the last page of the writer's article listings. You should now be looking at the article you had just previewed. Then you can continue to skim upwards until you find another article of interest.

Scrolling through articles from the bottom up, is more of a fool proof way of not passing by any articles, because if the writer has added any more content, an article title may then be pushed to the next page. If you are looking for a stopping point, after discovering a lengthy list to go through, you can skim through all the articles discovered posted during a given month or year.

Another way of checking for articles by an author, you may have overlooked while skimming through articles, is to skim through the featured articles of an author. These, if any, will be situated just to the right of the writer's photo. You can quickly check these titles by clicking the white arrow to the left or the right of the featured article titles.

Of course, sometimes subject matter you are reading, may have similar content articles listed to the left and right of the article, you are previewing. Just click the title and go.

Happy hunting.

I need to look at more of a writer's earlier work in addition to reading the latest article.

Thanks for the tips! I have a great penchant for doing things backwards, lol.

I wish I could edit or delete some of my older articles too.

I was just going to say what JP said...sometimes I don't want people to see my very early articles! Writing for AC for 3 more years, going to 2 writer's conferences, and having joined a writer's critique group since then, I feel I've learned much more about unnecessary words, punctuation, and brevity.

Great job on this. Sometimes it's interesting to check the writer's first articles and watch as their writing improves. (or goes down the drain. lol)

Fascinating! How in the blankety-blank did you figure this out--through trial and error? This is a handy resource!
