How to Find the Perfect Job

You Will Have Companies Contacting You for Work, Instead of the Other Way Around

If you are reading this article it's either because you need to find a job as quick as possible or you are thinking about leaving your current job. Regardless, the first thing you will want to do is create a resume. You can avoid paying a fee by creating your own resume on Microsoft Works or Microsoft Word. If you do not have those programs, it will be cheaper to pay the fee to create your resume instead of purchasing the actual works or word program. You will need to put your first and last name at the top (centered). You will also want to put your telephone number and email address and any other necessary information. You will also want to include all of your jobs and the length of time that you worked there. If you cannot remember the exact day try to narrow it down to the month. You will also want to include the salary that you made and your description. You will want to list your obligations or duties at that specific career.

I would suggest looking at other peoples resumes to get an idea of how to set up yours. Make sure to use large font so it can easily be read and always save the file as a .doc (word or works) file. Otherwise many companies cannot open up your resume. You should also do a cover letter and find examples of this on the internet. Save each of them and print out about 10 copies to submit with your application when you go into a company to fill out an application. Otherwise you can send your resume to each company and include your resume in the attachment section, you will just need to know where your resume file is located. You can also use the dash key but you can hold shift which will create a seperator for you and section off parts of your resume- like the heading with your name and other information.

Now that you have your resume, you can send it to any company that supplies you with their email address. The first thing I would do is go to www.monster.com and www.careerbuilder.com and submit your resume online. Many companies go to these sites and look for potential employees. You will have at least 5 people contact you every day with job opportunities in your area or around your area. You can also look up jobs through these companies and submit your resume through the website. I would state in the email the job you are looking for and tell them you have enclosed your resume in the attachment section or they may not see it there.

I would also look in the local paper/online and see if there are any emails listed for job opportunities. Send your resume to the email addresses listed. If you are looking for an at home career I would highly suggest going to www.wahm.com. You will definately find a job through this website. It has supplied me with three different part time jobs. It will definately be worth your while.

Now you have everything necessary to get the job you're looking for. I would buy a nice outfit that looks professional even to fill out the application. If you really need the job one outfit is completely worth it. You can wear the same outfit to apply for each company. Just make sure to act professional and show up about 5 minutes early if they schedule an interview, unless stated otherwise.
