How Do You Find Time to Get in Touch with Friends?

Vhiel Romion-Vance
I just finished talking to one of my closest friend. We lived thousands of miles, probably million of miles, away from each other and the only way that we get to talk is by chatting. Calling is a little bit expensive so online is the only way that we can communicate.

But what about the friends that live close to you? Do you find the time to visit them and hang out with them? What I mean by close is that, you can get to them by hopping on your car and driving there. Maybe couple of miles, 30-40 minutes away from you.

With me, I don't get to visit friends that are close to where I lived. Heck, my sister live like 20-30 minutes from us but we seldom see each other. I guess when we have kids, we tend to get preoccupied with a lot of stuff that we cannot find time anymore. But I believe that if you value your friendship, find some time to spend with each other's company. Make it your "ME" time. It will help you relax and rejuvenate which gives you more energy when you get home. You will actually feel refreshed and would be able to take care of your family much better.

Some tips on what to do when you go out with friends.

Watch a movie - this is always fun. watch something that you been dying to watch in a while or watch something funny.

Have some coffee - if you are a coffee lover, you can head out to your local coffee shop and just have a little talk.

Go shopping- now you don't have to spend a whole lot for this, you can either window shop or go for sales.

Ggo on a spa with friends

Play bowling- if you don't ball you can watch sports that you like.

Vacation trip with your family and your friends family. The best time to bond with your friend and her family is to go on a mini vacation. Go on a beach or take a tour of the tourist spot in your area.
