Clumsy people, this is the article for you! Learn how to fix your broken lipstick (if it's been broken in half, not smashed up ones) or your broken compact.

Fix a powder:

Powders are great forms of makeup because they're so portable and easy to use. But if you drop your powder somewhere, the outside compact might stay in tact, but chances are the powder inside will separate, leaving you with loose powder still in a container. You might think "There's nothing I can do now! I have to buy a new one!", right? Wrong! It's so simple to fix your compact quickly and easily, and save money.

First you need to gather all the broken powder dust into the middle of the container, because there's a chance the powder will be all over the container, on the mirror, brush, wherever.

Next, grab a (CLEAN!) tissue that you'll use to press the powder back into place. Don't use your finger to just stab it into place without a tissue, because all the oil on your finger/fingernail will go into the powder, and it'll be pretty much useless after that. Believe me, I've done it.

Next, use your finger to gently press the powder back into place. But press it too hard and you'll have powder flying everywhere! Try to make it as even as possible, without any lumps. Use a pencil or the end of a spoon to do the corners, if you have a square shaped compact.

Lastly, blow off all the excess powder, and voila! You have a brand new looking compact! Okay, so it won't look as nice as it did before, but that's your own fault for dropping it! You can use this trick heaps of times, every time you drop your compact. It works on all types of powdery make up, eyeshadow, blush, pressed powder, whatever.

Fix a Lipstick:

If you've broken your favorite lip stick in to two, you'll only need a match to stick it back together. Sure, you could just try to mush it back together, but this way is a lot more cleaner.

You'll need your broken lipstick and a match. With the match, start to melt the bottom of the broken lipstick, and the base. When they're both half melted, just stick them back together. Use your finger to smooth down the lipstick, because there will be some messy parts around the broken bits.

Just leave your lipstick in a dry place out of the sun to set, and then you'll have your favorite lipstick back into one again! That is, until you break your makeup again.
