How to Get a Flat Stomach in Three Days

Belly fat is usually the last hurdle to overcome in a diet and exercise regime and regardless of how many crunches you do everyday, the fact remains that it is hard to achieve a flat stomach. A flat stomach makes anyone look slimmer but to achieve it in three days is a big claim. This can only be done if you can see your waistline and are not very overweight. Excessive eating and binge eating may cause your stomach to bloat and this can be reduced in three days.

Cleansing, Dieting and Exercise

Step 1:

Begin to cleanse your stomach. Binge eating, eating junk food and other such dietary blunders can cause the belly to retain water. This bloating leads to "extra" belly weight that can be extremely hard to get rid of. The use of a good herbal colon cleanser, like the acai berry, can help reduce bloating. Cleansing can take up to 24 hours and to make it the most effective, you should drink only water or juice like cranberry and watermelon. Avoid artificial sugar drinks and processed drinks. You can drink green tea, lemon juice and other such citrus juices. Cleansing refers to the intake of only "pure" and natural products; avoid caffeine and nicotine. Make a diet chart to track what you eat and drink.

Step 2:

On the second day, start a diet full of proteins while avoiding carbohydrates. The best way to keep your system clean is to eat fruits and grilled foods. Grilled food does not contain the oils used in frying and cooking, so there are fewer calories to worry about. Indulge yourself with white meat and fish, grilling it or baking it to ensure you avoid fats. Drink a lot of water and eat lots of fruit to give yourself a feeling of fullness. Most diets limit your calories; however, fruits are low in calories and white meat has healthy calories so you can eat until you are full without feeling guilty. Track what you eat on your diet chart so that you are not tempted to eat processed sugars or flour.

Step 3:

Along with the diet, start exercising. Use an exercise ball to do crunches that target your lower abdomen. If you do not have an exercise ball, prop a firm pillow under your back and do the crunches. Start with 10 crunches in the morning, another 10 in the afternoon, and 10 crunches again at night. If you can get through the first set without losing your breath, you should add in some push-ups as well-10 with each set of crunches. This will target your upper abdominal muscles in addition to the lower abs and increases the calories used.

Step 4:

On the third day, try to get rid of any leftover toxins in your belly by having fiber supplements like BeneCleanse or Benefiber, which will aid the digestive process and cleanse the bowels. Continue on your diet and exercise program.

Step 5:

At the end of the third day, treat yourself to a full body massage. This will help your body muscles relax and become more pliant. The massage will also gear your body to get into shape allowing muscles to work so that they are toned. While not everyone will lose inches of the belly, this method can help your belly to look trimmer and set the groundwork for future success. This method is geared to help you lose the extra inches with continued attention to the diet and exercise program.
