How to Make a Floral Tub Pampering Gift Arrangement

Pam Parent
The floral tub pampering gift arrangement is two gifts in one. It has lotions to pamper, and when they're removed, you have a lovely centerpiece that will add beauty to a powder room or kitchen. It makes the perfect gift for Mother's Day, bridal showers, birthdays, or just a thank you to someone special. Mini porcelain tubs can be found at most websites or stores that sell dollhouse furniture. The colors used in this gift arrangement can be changed to match any decor.

Floral Tub Pampering Gift Arrangement

Supplies:

Mini porcelain tub
Craft knife
1 bunch statice
Glue gun and sticks
8-10 dried pink roses
Burgundy baby's breath
Bath sponge with rope handle
Mini tube of hand cream
Mini bottle of body wash
Floral foam
Scissors
Clear tape
Bobby pins
Small gift card

Directions:

1. Cut a piece of floral foam with the craft knife. Make sure the piece you cut fits snug inside the tub. Glue this piece of foam inside the tub.

2. Glue a piece of statice to the center of the tub, and at each end of the tub. The middle piece of statice will be the highest piece of the arrangement. The outline of the three statice pieces should form a triangle shape. Use this shape as a guide when making the rest of the arrangement. Fill in using the remaining statice until the arrangement is full.

3. If you can't find dried roses, buy an inexpensive bouquet of roses from the florist section of your local supermarket. Wrap a rubber band around the bottom stems of the roses. Remove the leaves on the stems, then hang them upside down in a closet or any dark, cool room until they dry. Check on the roses after approximately one week. Once the roses are dried, store them in a paper bag until you're ready to use them.

4. Glue the burgundy baby's breath evenly throughout the entire tub arrangement.

5. Glue the dried roses evenly throughout the arrangement.

6. Place the bath sponge rope side down at the top, center of the arrangement. Hold it in place with a pin to each side of the sponge.

7. Place the bottle of body wash and hand cream on the center, front of the gift arrangement. Carefully place tape across each bottle to hold it in place.

8. Fill out the gift card, then place it at the top, side of the gift arrangement.

If you are making this arrangement for a bridal shower gift, add a few wedding picks and decorations in the bride's wedding colors throughout the arrangement.
