How to Make Floral-Filled Watering Can Wedding Favors

Pam Parent
The floral watering can wedding favors are a cute and inexpensive wedding favor to make. These wedding favors would be especially fitting for a garden, beach or country wedding. The mini watering can also be filled with candies, seashells or potpourri. Another cute idea is to glue a wallet sized picture of the bride and groom to the front of the watering can.

Watering Can Wedding Favor

Supplies:

Mini watering can
Thin ribbon
Styrofoam
Scissors
Mini silk florals
Glue gun and glue sticks
Paper punch
Sheet of card stock
Ruler

Directions:

1. Cut a piece of Styrofoam so that it fits snug inside the watering can. Glue the Styrofoam to the inside the watering can.

2. Arrange the florals in the foam so that they create a tiny bouquet. You could also fill mini tulle bags with candy then tie the bag closed with the ribbon. Place the bag inside the watering can. There are endless ways to decorate the watering can wedding favor.

3. Cut a tag that is 1" x 3" from the card stock. Write the guest's name on the tag. Punch a hole on the corner of the tag. Tie this tag on the handle of the watering can with the thin ribbon.

Amazon offers a set of 12 mini galvanized watering cans for $17.82.
