FrontierVille, one of the newest, popular Zynga games on Facebook is highly fun... and nearly addictive for some. Getting coins in FrontierVille is the key to buying crops, animals, buildings, and other important items in FrontierVille. So how do you get coins in FrontierVille? Is there a way to get free coins in FrontierVille? While you can get free coins in FrontierVille, you'll need to persist and work for those free coins.

Tips On Getting Free Coins in FrontierVille

Though you can get free coins for doing nearly any rudimentary task in FrontierVille, you'll need to focus your energies on a few areas that'll net you the most amount of coins for your effort:

Collecting Bonuses from Buildings

Have any buildings in FrontierVille? You can enjoy a daily bonus (sometimes in free coins) simply by clicking on them and choosing to "Collect Bonus."

Helping Neighbors

Every time you visit a neighbor (though up to once a day), you'll get 25 free coins simply for stopping by your neighbor's frontier. Help tend to their frontier and you can collect even more coins.

Clobbering Pesky Animals

When you tend to your frontier, you're going to every now and then encounter snakes and bears. When you clobber these critters, you're going to be awarded anywhere from 50 to several hundred free coins.

Harvesting Crops

It takes money to make money, right? Well, in this case, you're trying to get free coins in FrontierVille... and by reaping harvests from the crops you plant, you'll collect tons of free coins. Clovers and tomatoes are quick-growing crops that'll yield a few extra coins for every plot of crop you plant. More expensive crops like corn and wheat take 12 hours to a full day to harvest but yield more than a hundred coins over what you paid to plant them.

Chopping Trees & Tending Grass

While you won't always get free coins for tending the grass or chopping the trees in your frontier, most times you will. The majority of times you'll be awarded 1 to 3 coins for each plot of grass you cut or every chop you strike to a tree. However, occasionally you'll receive a bounty of 5 or more coins for your efforts.
