This will only help you if you have a Redbox kiosk in your town or within your desired driving distance. Most Redbox kiosks can be found at Wal Mart, Walgreen's, and McDonalds. Your town may have other locations that have a Redbox kiosk. Just perform a simple search through the Redbox website here www.redbox.com.
The first thing you can do to start getting free dvd rentals from Redbox is to go to thier sight and sign up. They don't send spam. Register there and they will give you a code for your first DVD rental, this code is usually BREAKROOM. You can also sign up for SMS Monday, which means they will send you a text message on your cell phone giving you that days code for a free dvd rental. This code is only good for Monday. Not only will they send you a new code every Monday, but, sometimes they send you codes at random to rent a free dvd movie.
The following are some promo codes that have been given out since the start of Redbox. Some of these codes may or may not be valid in your area. The kiosk screen will tell you if it is valid or not. If it isn't, just put in one of the other promo codes for your free dvd rental. Hint: select your movie at the kiosk, add to cart, enter promo code, then scan your card to complete the transaction. Then, select another movie, add it to the cart, enter your promo code for your free dvd, scan the card and complete transaction, then lather, rinse and repeat. I think you get the idea.
Here are some codes that should work for you, they have worked for me:
BREAKROOM
WALMART (only works if you are using a kiosk at Wal-Mart)
Walgreens (only works if you are using a kiosk at Walgreen's)
DVD4ME
DVDONME
MCDONALDS (only works at McDonalds)
REDTREE
COWS (supposedly gives you a buy one get one free option, didn't work for me at my location, but, has worked for others, worth a try)
Redbox rents out movies for one night at $1.00 a piece plus tax. Not a bad price at all for new releases. You only get to keep the movies for one night. So, with the promo code or not, you are still getting a bargain.
Remember: You can only use the code ONCE per credit/debit/bank card. If you have several cards, you can set up seperate accounts and use your code once for each rental. But, remember, Redbox employees have to eat too. ;-)

Post a CommentI get movies from the red box for free and i keep them as long as i want. I figured this out accidentally when i was renting a movie last year, all you do is when the the dvd is vending it comes out, you dont take it out you just keep it in there and hold it. this is where its tricky you have to hold it for about 30 sec. then you take it out quickly if you dont do it long enough or to long it wont work. then you should see a screen saying "there was a problem vending your dvd and your credit/debit card will not be charged".
I took a while for me to become very good at this.
