How to Get Free Prescription Medicine

Many Pharmaceutal Companies Will Send You Free Medication If You Meet Their Requirements

Sondra C
Those who cannot afford to pay for their prescription medicine, might be able to get it free from the pharmaceutical company. This is a fact!. I know someone who has been receiving a specific medication, free of charge, because she honestly cannot afford to buy it.

Many, but not all, pharmaceutical companies will send you medicines that have been prescribed by your doctor. if you honestly cannot afford to pay for the medication, and can prove it, you might be able to get it sent to your doctor to give to you at no cost.

Things You'll Need:

Prescription
Name of Drug Company
Name of the medicine

1. Make an appointment to see your attending physician. If they prescribe a medication that is very expensive, tell them you do not have money to pay for the medicine and that that you do not have a Prescription Plan Coverage.

2. Ask the doctor for the name of the pharmaceutical company. You can also find this information by searching for the medicine by name on the Internet.

3. Contact the drug company by phone, email or snail mail. Explain your medical condition and reason you need this specific drug and that you cannot afford to pay for it. They will send you a form. Fill it out and keep a copy or yourself.

4.
Mail the form back signed and dated. Fill out every question that they ask. If they approve your application they will send the medication directly to your physician and not your home. Your doctor will contact you to when they receive it.

Things to Know

** They might approve the application for full year's worth of the prescription.

** You might need to update the form yearly if you still need that drug.

** Try this (do it yourself) method first before paying for any outside service who advertises they can help you to get free medicine. They will do the same thing you can do yourself - for free.

**
You will be required to send a copy of your last years Tax Form.

Understand that
not all drug companies offer free medicine. Try anyway, they can always refuse, but there is also a chance that might agree. You have nothing to lose.
