How Do You Make a French Dip Using Leftover Prime Rib?

Prime rib is an expensive meat with the drippings and small pieces one can make French dip with some of the prime rib. There are several ways of making French dip with prime rib.

Here are some samples to try.

With the drippings or juices from the prime rib warm the juices with adding onion soup mix and water to the juice let boil for a couple of minutes. Strain the juices to remove any of the onion or pieces of herbs from the onion soup mix. Pour and serve in a small dipping dish. French bread with thin slice of prime rib is a great meal in its self.

Another way of making French dip is to boil a cup of water. Once the water is boiling at beef base about a teaspoon to the water let boil for a couple of minutes. Add fine chop onions to the boiling beef broth, once done, add a touch of cheese to the top and dip the sandwich. While boiling the beef base and onion place a metal strainer over the pan and place the prime rib slices in to warm place in the French bread. Pour the French dip in a small shallow dish and a meal is made.

Someone that does not have a lot of time or maybe only a little prime rib left can place the prime rib in a strainer pour over a cup of warm water into a sauce pan and boil till meat is warm. Add beef broth or beef cube to the water to enhance the takes of the French dip.

Use a small piece of prime rib, place in freezer till firm once firm slice of thin slices. Place in a cup of water boil till done. The pinkness in the meat will disappear however the water will take on the taste of the prime rib leaving a great French dip.

One way is not really using prime rib for the French dip. A person could buy a package or a jar of au juice heat, place in dish, warm prime rib place in French bread and dip.

When making French dip depending on a person cooking knowledge and experience with prime rib one will choose how to make their French dip.

Prime rib on French bread with French dip will definitely be a treat for lunch.
