How to French Kiss

I wrote an article recently about kissing. My buddy Norris told me that I should stick to sports, but I like writing about kissing. After all, it is one of my favorite things to do. In that article, I gave some basic advice on kissing in general. In this one, I want to get more specific and focus on the French kiss. There are some things that can set you apart from others as a great French kisser. In this article, I will address those things and more.

The first thing you have to make sure of is that your breath is fresh. When it comes to kissing someone, you can not have bad breath. Even if it is not a French kiss, bad breath is a good way to kill the mood. The French kiss, however, has an emphasis on the fresh breath. When your mouth is open, you are more likely to give that bad taste to your lover. If you think your breath might be bad, take some mints with you and put them in your pocket. It is also important to remember that if you think you might be kissing someone, stay away from certain foods that will leave your breath feeling nasty. Some of these foods are garlic, onions, and even corn.

You probably want to keep your lips moist, as well. Dry lips are stiff lips and nobody wants to kiss those. Keep a good balance, though. If your lips are too wet, that is not attractive. Maybe you want to run your tongue over your lips to soften them some. If you have a little bit of lip balm, try to use it.

The mechanics of kissing are a little bit complicated. If you try to kiss someone dead, straight on, then you are going to run into some trouble. Generally, you will knock noses and nobody wants that. An easy way to make sure this does not happen is to use the head tilt. If you and your partner tilt your heads to the side, then you can kiss without any incident.

It has been said that if you kiss with your eyes open, then you are lying. I would say that most people agree that a good kiss is one where the eyes are closed. Make sure you do not miss, though. That can be quite embarrassing.

Even though you are going to be kissing with your mouth open, you need to be a little careful how you approach it. You are not trying to eat your partner. You are not trying to lick their face. Start with your lips closed, then open your mouth slowly. Before you can really be a good French kisser, you have to be a good kisser in general. Start it off with a close-mouthed kiss and the work to the open-mouth kiss. This is a much more romantic thing and your partner will thank you for it.
