How to Make Friends on Tagfoot

A Social Bookmarking Site for Making Friends and Keeping Yourself Organized

Susan Kaul
Hello, my name is Susan and I am a member of Tagfoot. I am a "twitfoot", "Profoot", "Bigfoot" and "Mentor" of Tagfoot. It is my job to work in tandem with the other bigfeet and mentors as well as the owner of Tagfoot, Scott Desapio to keep tagfoot running as smoothly as possible. The Bigfeet are the guardians of Tagfoot. On other sites you may know us as moderators. And the Mentors of Tagfoot are responsible for helping new ones to get off on the right foot, show them around, and teach them the tricks of Tagfoot.

Many of the people I mentor at Tagfoot have asked how to make friends and how to be able to include them self in conversations. If you are interested in learning your way around Tagfoot and how to make friends and join conversations. This may help.

Go to the homepage of Tagfoot. To get there, just click the large word Tagfoot at the top left of each page. You'll notice a small drop down box there that says "most popular: 24 hrs" and "most recently added" Skim through what is listed on the page once you make your choice and see if anything looks interesting. Once you see something you like, just click through and join into the conversation or if no one has commented yet, be the first! It's a great way to get a conversation started.

Another great way to find people that you might like to be friends with is to click on the people tab, now in the search tab, type whatever keyword you are interested in. For instance you may be interested in "knitting", so if you type that in, all the people that have knitting as one of their keywords will list for you. Now you can go through some or all of them and send them a friend request.

Do that for any and all of your favorite topics, subjects or keywords. And make a lot of friends! Once they reciprocate, and accept you as a friend, you can share and receive things from each other.

Another fun thing to do while you are on the homepage is to watch the map and as topics or things people have posted or are just looking at, float by you can click on them and go see what is happening.

Another great feature is the homepage, People tab. when you click on the people tab you will see all top footers on Tagfoot today. You can click on their picture and go to their profile page and you can read their conversations or postings of the last few hours and click on anything and join a conversation in progress or be the first to comment on something you like, remember that is a great way to get a conversation started.

These are a few ways to get around Tagfoot when you are looking to make new friends or find interesting things to coment on or engage in conversations, debates, or just have fun with people. I hope you'll enjoy your time at Tagfoot and find it very enriching.

How awful that you have so much wrong all at once. I hope you are close to the end of this health journey.

I need to be more active on TagFoot. Kinda got sidetracked with the kidney problems, gallbladder troubles, bronchitis, then pneumonia. Thanks for reminding me!
