How to Make a Frosty Orange Creme

Chrisdavy
Talk about an indulgence. This dessert is one of my favorites as well as a family reunion staple. Easy to make. Let the kids start learning their way around the kitchen with this simple, yet immensely satisfying dessert. Julia Child and Rachel Ray have NOTHING on you!
  1. Step 1
    • Take a 9x5 inch loaf pan; line it with foil. Spread the sherbet onto the bottom of the pan to form an even layer. Freeze this for 10 minutes.
    • Step 2
Did I tell you how yum this is already?

While your sherbet is freezing, beat the cream cheese in a large bowl with a mixer until it is creamy. Gradually add the condensed milk and juice, beating until it's all blended. Then, gently stir in the Cool Whip. Pour this over the sherbet in the pan after the sherbet freezes.

    • Step 3

      Get ready for the yum.

Freeze this for 3 hours. When you get ready to serve, just invert the pan onto a plate and remove the foil. Voila!

AC's licentious, guilty pleasure. What can I say? I write about sex and money. You know, the important stuff. Giggle. (But I do it so well!) Fashion, too. LOL  View profile
