How to Make Fudge Ribbon Cake

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Crisco
  • 3 oz unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 1/3 cup milk
  1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease bottom of 13x9 pan generously with butter and flour

  2. Step 2

    In a small bowl blend cream cheese until softened at medium speed.

  3. Step 3

    Next add sugar blending well. Add egg and vanilla, beat at meduim speed until thoroughly mixed. Make sure all is blended well!! Set aside

  4. Step 4

    In a large bowl combine remaining ingredients. Blend at low speed until moistened. Beat 3 minutes until thoroughly combined.

  5. Step 5

    Pour 1/2 batter into pan,and spread to cover bottom of pan. Then cover with cream cheese mixture. Cover cream cheese mixture with remaining 1/2 batter

  6. Step 6

    Bake for 35-40 minutes. Cool completely and enjoy!
