How to Have Fun in Las Vegas After the Gambling Money's Gone

For every winner in Las Vegas, there are a couple of big losers. After all, they don't build those big casinos by giving money away to the guests. If you've ever been out to Las Vegas, you know how easy it is to lose all of your gambling money in a matter of days. How do you survive after all of the gambling funds are gone? In this article, I'll address how to have fun in Las Vegas when your gambling is over.

The last time I went out to Las Vegas, I lost all of my money to gamble and my money to get home. Hopefully this won't be a problem for any of you all, but at least a few of you should be prepared to lose all of your gambling funds when you head out to Las Vegas. It's simply too hard to beat the house consistently. So the money's gone now and you're wondering what to do with yourself. If you're anything like me, then you have friends who will still be gambling long after you're finished. You'll want to keep them company, as well. This is where things get a little tricky.

Even if you have no money to gamble with, casinos will allow you to loiter around a little bit while your friends play. If they're at the blackjack table, hang around watching them play hands. This will not only be fun because of the entertainment of card playing, but you'll also get to partake in the free drinks that are available to players within the casino. If there is more than one empty seat at a given table, most dealers will allow you to grab a seat alongside your buddy.

If you want to get into the action, but only have a little bit of money left, try out some of the electronic poker and blackjack machines. These machines usually allow players to bet as little as a quarter on each hand, meaning that you can play and reap the rewards of that play (free drinks, etc.) for an extended period of time. Get your buddies to sit down with you and you guys or gals can have a great time doing this.

As far as free entertainment goes, I'd head over to the Bellagio. Everyone knows about the water fountain show, which runs every 15 minutes. It's even more spectacular at night, when lights accompany the water show and the fountains dance to the soulful sounds of Frank Sinatra. If you have a girlfriend of wife with you, this can be a romantic experience for you two. After you watch the fountains, make your way into the Bellagio and hang out in the casino. It's usually fun to watch the high rollers bet $1000 on their table games and you can once again partake in the free drinks. The architecture of this casino is entertainment in itself, as its one of the world's most beautiful buildings. Also in the Bellagio is a garden where flowers come together to create an Alice in Wonderland type of world.

Once you lose your shirt in Las Vegas, you can still have a little fun. Just because you've dumped your stake to the casino doesn't mean they can kick you out. The free drinks you'll receive should be enough to ease your pain at least temporarily.
