This is a wonderful site for many different people who like to do different things! Myspace offers now a variety of activities you can participate in with add-on apps that you can download to your myspace page! Here are just a few examples of the most popular features that Myspace offers you for free!

* Myspace Karaoke

With the proper microphone and free download, you can sing with the lyrics of some of your favorite songs! Yes, this is my favorite feature because I love to sing! If you click on the seventh tab labeled, "MORE", then you can go down to the fifteenth tab labeled, "kareokee", then it will take you to this part of Myspace! You can save your recordings, listen and leave feedback for other people's recordings, and just browse songs you like too! When you save your songs, they are automatically with permission saved on your Myspace Page!

* Myspace Poker

With the proper free download, you can start playing real live free poker with other real people in Myspace! My husband loves this feature the most! We often struggle with individual time on our computer due to his wanting to play poker, and my wanting to write and rate for CIAO! If you would like to find this application, then you should go to your home page ( not the page that displays to others, but your personal information page), and click on the far tab to the right labeled "MORE". Then go the the second tab labeled "Apps Gallery". This should take you to a list that provides all the Apps Myspace offers for free! If you look to your far right, there is a search box that offers you a search for any particular app you may be looking for! Just type in the app name, or browse through them until you find what game or special activity you want for free!

* Myspace Quiz Games

This is my final favorite app add-on, in which you can take other people's quiz's, or you can create your own personal quiz for others to take! There are also IQ quiz related games that you can take to give your brain a boost of energy and also find out where you stand mentally! To find this app add-on, go to the same place that I mentioned above! You will want to go again to the Myspace Apps Gallery and search for Quiz. There will be advertisements that offer to test your IQ, then there will be in alphabetical order the quiz's other people have created. Enjoy this fun and mind adventurous game for free!

How does Myspace function?

This is a very simple question for some, but for some like myself (five years ago) is not a very easy question to answer! I was so frustrated at first, because the whole thing seemed very confusing! So, people, I am going to share with you a quick guide on how to use Myspace!

First let me give you some simple facts about this site! Tom is the first name of the guy who created Myspace. When you sign up for Myspace, he will be your first real automated friend due to him being the creator!

Now, after you have signed on, you will have your own screen name, password, and URL link for your page! A URL link is an internet address, that if clicked or pasted to your browser will take you directly to the site! I think this is so amazing!Now, I will give you some pointers that are for all computer type's except the Mac computer!

To find your URL link, you must first create one!

When you are logged in to Myspace there are two pages that you can view. Your personal information home page and your page that others review when looking at your page! This may seem confusing but think of your personal page as one that you and only you view! This is the page that you use to make changes to your review page!

Now when you are in your review page(Home), you will see an empty box to your left, this is your display picture box! You can upload pictures to your site by clicking on the the "upload" link under your picture box right beside photos! To change your picture in the box, you can select one of your favorite pictures to be your "default picture". You do this by clicking on the picture, and then it will say above the picture "Set as default", after clicking on this, Myspace automatically sets this picture as your picture display in your picture box!

I hope I haven't lost you yet!

* How to set your URL link for Myspace!

To set your personal URL link you must first make sure that your at your Home page! Go, ahead and click on the far left first tab labeled "HOME" to make sure you are there. Don't worry, "I'll Wait!". Now, it will say, " Hello (your name)," then you should notice that right under that is you URL code link. You must first choose the name of your URL by clicking on the highlighted note. Then it will ask you to name your URL. You should also note that after naming your URL that this will be your permanent URL, you cannot change it later, so make sure that your happy with the name!

* How to decorate your second page!

After clicking on other people's picture boxes (that take you to their page), you should notice that some of them are very well decorated with colors and themes! I thought to myself the first time that I discovered Myspace, " I want my page to be like this!". Well, how do you decorate your page? I battled with this obstacle very often, until I figured out on my own how to do this! Well, struggle no more for I am going to give you the answer to that question!

I don't want to confuse you, so I will give an example decorated page, then you should know how to re- decorate your page yourself!

1. Make sure you are at home!

2. Go to the third tab at the top and click on the tab labeled "Profile", now scroll down until you see the "Edit Profile", name. This will take you to your back page. This page will display on your real page what you want to display. You may want to go through the format, and fill in all the information that you would like people to view!

3. Note that other than the information you provided above, will be codes. The most common code is an HTML code. Now don't leave me yet, I am going to make this really easy for you! You can find these codes under many things such as moving pictures, video stream, and layout options. A Myspace layout is the theme that you create or choose as your decoration page, like you saw after clicking on other people's pictures!

4. You can find these codes for free in other free sites such as www.glitter-graphics.com. This site is my favorite, so I will give this one for an example. If you would like to view other sites with codes for free, just type Myspace layouts in your search bar, and it should direct you to many free sites available.

5. After opening a new tab, you can type in the address I gave you above! This site is blue with boxes that will show as you enter the site. I am only going to show you how to paste a code for a layout. You can go back and with common sense figure out the rest. There are usually directions on how to do all of these things under or above the code.

6. Click on the box that says "Layouts".

7. You will then see boxes with different designs for layouts, if you click the name "preview", under the box then this will give you a live preview, of what your Myspace layout would look like. Go ahead and search or browse through the layouts until you find one you like! I will wait for you to get back!

8. Now that you have found the design layout that you would like, just click on the name of the layout right above it! This should take you to another page with the little layout in a box, and then right below it is a box with a code in it!

9. You can right click on the code and then go to the words "Select All", (make sure what you have selected are the words in the box), then right click again and go to "Copy".

10. Now click on the tab for your Myspace Home Page. You should go to Edit Profile again.

11. See where it says "About Me", you should right click on this box and go to the words " Paste". It should Paste your code right into that box. Yes, this is called Copy and Paste!

12. You should then go up to where the box says "Save Changes". Sometimes you have to fill in the Capchta Code to fully save the preview!

13. Now, Go back to your Home Page by clicking "HOME".

14. Click on your picture box to see if your layout!

15. Congratulations, you have now decorated your own Myspace page!

* How to add a friend to your Myspace page

Now we all should know that Myspace in the very begining was for people to socialize. Yes, this would be a free social network that blew up into the most popular one in a very short time! I love Myspace!

If you go to picture box and click on it, you should then see the page of your friend or new buddy. If you will notice most of them have a box that says these words: Add, Favorites, Send Message, Block, and Rate. You can click on these words to perform the function of the word itself.

You can add or delete as many friends as you like!

What I love about Myspace

I love the fact that you can meet new people, play games, and decorate your own special page all for free! That about sums that up into a very small group of words!

What I dislike about Myspace

Sometimes people will abuse this site. Yes, you will get friend request and mail from spammers! So, beware of all sorts of spammers! The most popular spam you will recieve are sex spammers! I hate sex spammers! You think you have done made a new friend, and then you get the images of crack your not really in the mood to see! Tom works very hard to prevent this from happening, but let's say that a few get by him sometimes. What do you expect? One man to "I don't know say create the most popular site on the web, and it be perfect?". Just kidding, just click spam when you find it!

You should not forget about the rules! There are rules to this site that you must follow, or your account could be deleted! This is a very special and popular place that you might run into someone you have not seen in ten years! I loved the feeling I got when I found a long lost friend!
