Phantom Rose
Gemstone bracelets are simply what their name implies-bracelets crafted with gemstones. They add a fashionable touch to any outfit and are adored by most jewelry wearers. You can purchase gemstone bracelets in stores for exuberant prices, or you can easily make them at home yourself in any style that you wish. Numerous types of gemstones exist, which gives you a versatile selection of stones with which to work, such as rubies, sapphires, emeralds and amethysts. If you let you creativity and ingenuity reign, you can make gorgeous gemstone bracelets worthy of marketing in retail stores, and people will even be asking you where you bought your lovely bracelet.

Things You'll Need

Gemstone beads

Beading wire

Wire nippers

Jewelry clasp

Crimping pliers

Step 1

Purchase gemstones beads in any style that you wish; numerous types exist in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors (See Resources).

Step 2

Measure your wrist by wrapping a length of beading wire around it, and cut the beading wire at the appropriate length with the wire nippers. Add an extra inch or two to your wrist measurement to allow for securing the jewelry clasp onto the wire.

Step 3

Thread one end of the beading wire through the ring of the jewelry clasp, loop the wire around the ring again, and then use the crimping pliers to crimp the wire into place to secure the ring.

Step 4

Thread the gemstones bead onto the beading wire in any pattern that you wish.

Step 5

Thread the hook of the jewelry clasp through the end of the beading wire, loop the wire around the hook again, and then use the crimping pliers to crimp the wire into place to secure the hook.

Step 6

Cut any excess wire from the bracelet with the wire nippers, and then clasp the gemstone bracelet around your wrist to test the fit.

Tips

Add bead spacers, charms and any other additional decorations to your gemstone bracelet to customize it further.

Warnings

Beware of crafting your gemstone bracelet too tight, for it could leave imprints on your skin if it is too tight.
