First of all, you need to take online classes. That's the easiest way to go to college with a job. You can take online courses through certain traditional universities or you can go online through completely online schools such as University of Phoenix. I have done both. First I signed up for eighteen hours of online classes at my original college in Tennessee, Austin Peay State University. Later, I transferred to University of Phoenix. It doesn't really matter which way you do it as long as you take online classes.
Next, it's best if you can find employment in some sort of office. An office job where you have plenty of free time is especially ideal and here's why. I worked in the lobby of a hotel for forty hours a week, the maximum I could get. My primary duties were attending to guests, taking in rent, filling out a few forms, and keeping an eye on things. Hence to say, I had loads of spare time on my hands with nothing to do except just sit there. Therefore, I took my books to work with me and when times were slow, I would complete my reading and assignments as work. Oftentimes I didn't even have to do any schoolwork at home because I had completed it all at work. All I had to do was upload my completed assignments and occasionally take the required online tests. So I still had plenty of free time to spend with my friends and family, which was great. I had a full-time job, attended full-time college, and still had plenty of leisure time leftover as well. I was busy, but very productive and, like I said before, still had enough time leftover for leisure activities every now and then.
If you can't swing this type of job, don't worry. You can still hold down a full-time job and full-time college as well. However, if you must go this route, I would recommend attending a completely online school such as University of Phoenix. Unlike a traditional university where you must take all classes in a semester at one time, with an online school you take one class at a time year round. This is much more ideal for people who have to work all day long at a factory, restaurant, etc. That way you can complete your coursework when you come home from work. Online schools are oftentimes designed especially for people who work.
That's how you can go to college with a full-time job. Sometimes you can get lucky as I did and be able to complete your coursework on the job. However, even if you don't, you can still take one class at a time and just do your assignments in the evening. However, be confident that it can be done.
