How Good is D-Link WBR-1310 Wireless Router?

I bought this router after i had bought my laptop. I was really hoping for the best router for the best price. I was really pleased with the product.

Price: The price for this product is amazing for its price. I bought the router for $49.99 at Best Buy and it was one of the cheapest wireless routers there, but it was better than some of the more expensive routers.

Ease of use: I followed the instructions that came along with the packaging. Right after i had finished all the steps, i immediately had wireless internet and internet for all my wired computers.

Compatibility: It is compatible with almost everything. If you buy this router, it is almost guaranteed to work with everything with wireless and wired internet.

Quality: This router is actually pretty high quality, the only thing its lacks is the signal distance. If you want further range, buy a higher model, one of the better models can go 4x the range, but costs $139.99. I have had my router for a few months now and have no encountered a single problem.

Overall: I have used many wireless routers and this one has been the best so far. It has had no connection losses so far and it has never failed me. Unlike one of the Link-sys routers, that disconnected every hour. Even the wired computers lost connection!

Remember, when choosing a router, be sure to ask for the help and the opinion of a professional. When i first bought my Link-Sys router i asked a young salesperson at best buy and he recommended the Link-sys. After giving up on that router i went back and asked another salesperson, he told me that the router i got was know to cut the connection every hour and sometimes even more often. He was the one who had recommended the D-link router and he was right, it is really good. So be sure, that even if someone reviews something and says that its really good, be sure to get an opinion of someone else. This means, that even after you read this and if you are thinking of buying this router, you should still go and get an opinion of someone else just to be sure, maybe he will recommend a different router.

If you are thinking of getting a wireless router, ask a salesperson what he thinks of it, and if he agrees with what i have said, then proceed to buying it. Don't make the same mistake i did!
