How to Be a Good Leader

Allan Deinla
Being a leader is not an easy task. As we all know, it requires a lot of patience, knowledge, responsibility, respect and a positive attitude in seeing things.

1.) Patient. Patient in a sense of doing things that does not make you get out of it, but rather doing it in a way you would like it to be. It is just like you are hoping into something or a result that would be beneficial to you and to others. To "HOPE" into something takes a lot of patient because "patient is a virtue".

2.) Knowledge. Knowledge in a way of knowing everything that surrounds you. I mean you must know your responsibility towards your job and your people, by knowing what your people feel towards their job even personal things. With this, it will make a bridge, a connection or even good communication between you and your people that will have a positive effect and harmonious relationship.

3.) Responsibility. Is a matter of taking things in a responsible manner. Response positively in untoward situation and be accounted for in such a way you could make plans how to make things solve.

4.) Respect. Respect can be earned and it takes time to have it. Other says you have to respect yourself first so as the other will respect you. Respect is one of the ingredient to be a good leader, you must show respect to your people by being considerate in all aspect, being aware with their concerns and their feelings. With this approach people will show same thing and will obey you undoubtedly.

5,) Positive attitude. It is a way of looking into brighter side of every situation, that for every problem will be encountered there is always a good and better solution.

If all people possess the right attitude, we could be all good leader.

Quite excellent ideas. Nearly perfect....When this attitude is applied in our career, may I just add this one important personality to make the idea 100% accepted....possessing "THE LOVE OF WORK" attitude.

Definitely, all things will result into an overwhelming "achievement" when all is done w/ "LOVE"
