How I Got Organized Online

I recently wanted to get organized. I had a goal but did not know were to start. I, unlike most people, have no organization sense. I also am different from others in the way that I like things being online and free.

After searching for a half hour I came across this site called AirSet. At first I thought it was just another one of those sites where you sign up and make a whole bunch of lists. I am a fan of lists and all but they do not appeal to me all the time. The truth is you cannot get things done with just lists. I needed something more than that at the same time.

I liked AirSet before I even registered for it. One of the features I liked from the beginning was that they had a group feature. You could create many different groups like Personal, Work, School, Family, and Friends. Those are the current groups I have. I am going to explain each of there uses in a nutshell so you have a better idea of what AirSet is capable of doing. My personal is something I do not share with anyone and use it to keep track of personal goals, events, and shopping lists. I also take advantage of the links tool to keep my favorites in-sync so I don't have a chance of losing it.

My school and work groups are also private. The only difference is that I keep things strictly for work or for school in there. The calender in my school group has things like due dates and final exam dates. My work group since I work from home or should I say my dorm has contacts like clients and other information related to work.

The main difference are my Family and Friends groups. I share both these groups with the people who are categorized under these groups. It helps us plan a get-together as well share news in our lives. One feature I did not mention at this point is called Blog. While most of you may be thinking like I did at first that you have your own Wordpress style blog its far from that. Blog is actually a very simple thread and post area. While you can't set up categories like they are in our very own AC forum its pretty good to have a small outside of email discussion.

This has helped me productively and socially. You should try it. Before I forget to mention it I would like to state that you can visit your AirSet from your mobile phone. At the moment you might not find this useful but in many instances I start writing in the cafe and I finish a task. To be on top of things I log on to AirSet from my phone and check it off.

These all in one tool is includes much more than I stated but I only talked about what I use most often. The site must have much more features that I forgot to mention or have yet to discover.
