Angela Mcneal
  • 6 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 1 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • Pinch Cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 oz thinly sliced prosciutto( cut into thin strips)
  • 1 1/2 cups grated Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 head of cauliflower broken into small pieces
  1. Preheat oven to 350. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and saute two minutes. Stir in Prosciutto, saute 2 min.
Add cauliflower and cook until it

  2. Step 2

Stir in Prosciutto, saute 2 min. Add cauliflower and cook until it loses its crispiness(about 3-4 min). Don't over cook or it will lose its color, cook when it is still slightly crispy. When you can stick a for into it.

  3. Step 3

Stir in flour, then cream. Blend well. Season with cayenne, slat and pepper. You don't need to use cayenne. You could even dice up some peppers to add to this dish.

  4. Step 4

Heat to boiling and remove from heat. Pour Cauliflower into shallow casserole dish. Top with cheese and parsley. Bake until top is browned and bubbly. About 30 min.

tips:
Stay close to your dish or you might burn it in the early cooking process!!
Prosciutto cooks very fast so please make sure that you are stirring it constantly!
