How to Make Green Beer Without Using Food Colouring

Petalac
Ever since I was a wee laddie, my dear old dad has always made green beer for St Patricks day, by adding a shot of Blue Curacao liqueur to a pint of beer, not only does it look good, but it gives the beer a nice refreshing taste, (actually its only on St Paddys day ,that my mum will have a beer, she loves it!) but be warned dont drink too many, unfortunatley it does not color dark ales but is very effective on the paler yellower beers.

Make sure you put the Blue Curacao liqueur in the glass before the beer is added!

Blue Curacao is a sweet blue liqueur, distilled and flavored from the dried peel of bitter oranges. It can also contain distillates of lemons and curacao fruit, sugar and wine. The Caribbean island of Curacao is host to much of the fruit used in these liqueurs.
It can be found in most liquor stores.

May your heart be light
And your day be bright
May a leprechaun bring ye
Good luck each day....
From morning to night!

Happy St Patricks Day

Sounds good and I like that better than the food coloring. Thanks. And...here's to you:
