How Green is My Poem?

How green is my poem?
It travels with the speed of electricity
it appears with a spreading carbon footprint
it burns precious resource while you read it
how green is it?
it saves nothing,
it just consumes.
but it will not be wasted,
if
as you read this
you understand my concerns
understand what all of this is really about
understand that for this poem to mean anything
that you will read no further, waste no more electricity on these words
if you really want to make a difference
you will turn this machine off now
and never
read these final words.
