The following are some of simple grounding techniques that you can use to bring balance and build faith in your life. You can choose which technique is best or right for you.
Grounding Techniques:
Grounding through Seated Position: This is when you sit straight in a chair, sofa, or even outdoors on rock or bench. Make sure both of your feet are on the floor and you sit in a good straight posture. Make sure your hands rest on you lap. Notice your feet on the ground and channel your thoughts. Close your eyes and breathe in and out. Clear you mind and allow energy to flow through your body.
Grounding through the Mind: Close your eyes and clear your mind by envisioning peaceful thoughts. Imagine yourself near the ocean and you are still in the seated position. Feel your feet against the soft warm sand. Or pretend you are in the outdoors in peace and harmony with nature and your feet is on the soil or on the grass. Think of peaceful a place where you can clear your mind. Feel the positive energy from you feet as you ground yourself. Breathe in and out and repeat as needed.
Grounding through Affirmation: Grounding through affirmation is when you use the power of words for healing. Your Affirmations should be encouraging words to remind you that everything in going to be ok. It is a technique to helping you to build faith in a high higher calling (God). You can write your affirmations on a small piece of paper or post card. Your affirmation can also beon a regular sheet of paper and hang it on the wall or if you are a private person and don't want everyone to see it, you can put inside your diary or journal.
Examples:
I am Beautiful, I am Special, and I am somebody
I shall over this dilemma, for God is right by my side
I will not give up on my Dreams
Grounding through Breathing: Grounding through breathing exercises is a great way to clear your mind of dilemmas, past hurts and pains. You breathe in through your nostrils and breathe out through your mouth. When you ground yourself through breathing, you inhale to positive energy (God) and you exhale to release your stress, worries and fears.
