Little girls absolutely love to play with Barbie dolls. From tea parties to shopping there is no stopping a little girls imagination when it comes to Barbie dolls. They spend hours dressing them and pretending with them. When playtime is over what's left? A mess!

Barbie dolls can take over little girls bedrooms. Barbie clothes can become scattered and mixed in with other toys. Little shirts, skirts, pants, scarves and dresses can end up everywhere. Little dishes, furniture, shoes and jewelry can too. Barbie clothes and accessories are so small that they often do get mixed in with little girls other toys and belongings, only to get lost.

Have you ever seen one of those tall, plastic storage organizers? They have six drawers. They are about four feet tall and maybe a foot and a half wide. That is what you'll need. These six drawer organizers are available at almost any department or home improvement store. They can be found with the storage containers and cost less than twenty five dollars. Here's how to organize your daughters Barbie clothes and accessories using one.

First start by having your little girl help you to sort through her belongings for Barbie dolls, clothes, accessories, and furniture. Little girls love to help. Together, sort all of Barbie's things out and make a pile. Once all of Barbie's items have been found it's time to start putting them away.

A six drawer organizer has different sized drawers. Barbie dolls themselves will go into a larger one of the drawers. Place all of the Barbie dolls in one of the largest drawers of the storage unit and then label the outside of the drawer Barbie Dolls. You can do this using a blank label, or a piece of masking tape. Simply write the words with a sharpie.

Next, take all of the Barbie clothes from the pile. Separate the Ken doll clothes from the Barbie clothes. While Ken dolls can go into the Barbie drawer the clothes are better off being separated.
