My pets have a good home here. Like I said, I sometimes struggle to come up with the money to keep them fed but they are fed every single day. I have always wanted to help other animals in need without bringing them home because I already have enough. I can't go to an animal shelter to volunteer like I want to because I don't have transportation. That is why I am glad I found the website FreeKibble.com.
What is FreeKibble.com?
FreeKibble.com is a website where you can donate kibble to feed thousands of animals in animal shelters around the country. All you have to do is answer a trivia question about dogs and cats once a day. Whether you get the answer right or wrong doesn't matter because you will still help donate the kibble for free just for visiting the site and answering the trivia question. FreeKibble.com is a fun and free way to help animals in need of food all around the country. Every time you answer a trivia question about a cat or dog, you will donate 10 pieces of kibble to animal shelters around the country. Every once in a while, FreeKibble.com will have a double kibble day which means you will donate 20 pieces of kibble to animal shelters by answering the trivia questions. It is that easy and not too good to be true.
How FreeKibble.com got started
FreeKibble.com was started by 12 year old Mimi Ausland from Bend, Oregon. Mimi wanted to help feed the animals in her local animal shelter so she decided to start FreeKibble.com to help other shelters as well.
FreeKibble.com's primary goal
FreeKibble.com's primary focus is to help provide good, healthy meals to animal shelters who are struggling to keep the animals fed. Just by answering one question once a day for cats and dogs, anyone who does this is helping provide healthy food to the Humane Society in Oregon and currently 10 other animal shelters from Oregon to Florida.
FreeKibble.com's Plans for the Future
FreeKibble.com plans to expand to add even more animal shelters so many more animals can be fed properly every day. FreeKibble.com has partnered with Castor and Pollux Pet Works who sells healthy, organic pet food. Since April 1st, 2008 people who often visit FreeKibble.com have donated 83,058,000 pieces of kibble to thousands of dogs and cats in need of food.
You Can Help Too
You can help feed thousands of dogs and cats in animal shelters too by visiting FreeKibble.com once a day and answering the fun trivia question about dogs and cats. Whether you know the answer or not, take a guess because even if you get the answer wrong kibble will still be donated to thousands of animals all over the country. Please help feed the animals in the shelters by visiting FreeKibble.com today.

Post a CommentWith six cats and six dogs that you've rescued, you're doing a wonderful thing. I'm heading over to check out the Free Kibble website. We have two rescue dogs and I'm always interested in helping homeless dogs and cats.
Sounds like a great website! I'm sure many people would be willing to donate to it, and many pet owners can find it useful when money is tight!
Thanks so much for writing this!
Way cool! I have never heard of it! There is a cat in our neighborhood, I have no idea who it belongs too but it is a very tame and nice cat but will not come into our home.. anyhow, when it (I have never checked to see if it is male or female.. lol) first started coming around it wasn't so nice nor friendly but it looked cold so I started buyiong cat food for it and would give it water or diluted water and milk warmed to warm it up a little, now it comes almost everynight to out screen door.. like clock work and we feed and water the poor guy. I wonder where it sleeps and how it has managed to steer clear of the coyotes around here, there are two of those that we see out by our sand box atleast a couple evenings a week.
I've been a fan of the freekibble site for a while now :) Great job getting the word out!
Thanks so much Maggie for linking to my article to let others know about this great resource. Every little bit helps so many animals in the animal shelters. :)
very good article...
This is SUCH a great article! Animals are so helpless and innocent, and we need to be reminded that we CAN help. I try to volunteer at the local Humane Society with my kids, but time has been scarce since I went back to school. Thank you for sharing this for those of us who may not have funds or personal time to help. I'm going to link to your article on my blog to get the word out!
Thanks for telling us about kibble.com . Great article!
Mel, I forgot to mention in this article about the daily reminders. Thanks for bringing that up. Yes, I too do it for both cats and dogs. It is a very good thing they are doing and we are doing to help animals in need of food. I love freekibble.com I have 6 dogs and 6 cats so I know how hard it is to struggle to feed the ones I got. That is why I love helping freekibble donate food to shelters. :)
