I know it seems like the logical choice to save money when you can. You should always look for the made in the USA tag on everything, I know that it seems to be getting harder, and harder to find, I know that it costs a bit more to buy products that are mad in this country.
Have you ever heard that saying; you get what you pay for? It's a true statement, you should never sell out your country just to save a dime or two. The only way that our economy will ever be strong again, is if you start buying products that are made in this country.
Here is how it works; when you go out and purchase a product that is made in another country, that country gets the profits from the sale of that product. It stands to reason that we need to keep every single dollar that we can in our own country.
It's true that the government still collects taxes on products that aren't made in America. When we send other countries the profits from products sold here, it makes it harder for the company selling that products to expand their business, if they can't expand, they can't hire you to work for them.
This is all a big shell game. If we keep the profits in this country, it allows our country to begin to bail out of this bad economy. If the American businesses can start to bail out, they can begin to hire more people, and in turn this will bring the unemployment rate down.
I think that all true Americans would like to see the unemployment rate go down. Let's face it people the government can't create jobs out of thin air, only businesses can create jobs. While the economy is in a slump it's hard for business that aren't doing as well as they could be to hire you.
It is this simple; but the government would have you believe that spending almost two trillion dollars on a health care reform bill will help our country. What will help it is a little thinking the American way, rather then trying to make this country in to Europe.
In the past when our country was hurting, it was always the American businesses that pulled it through the rough times. In the free market, it always will be the businesses that save the country; not the government coming in and handing out money.
If you don't believe me, all you need to do is research it, and soon you will. I'm by no means saying that I know everything, I am no economic guru. I'm a concerned American citizen who decided to look in to the past so I could learn what helped in the past.
If you want our country to be saved in the future, all you have to do is look to the past. This country has been through bad economy, and high unemployment in the past. We have even had socialist presidents just like one we have now.
It's true none on the ones in the past got a huge ugly socialist health care reform bill to pass before. I believe this bill will be found to be UN-constitutional, and therefore lose it's effectiveness. Other then this bill, all we have to do is to look to the past to solve future problems.
There is usually something in the history of our country that is like the things going on today. If you don't just blow off history, it can be a huge help in fixing the latest problems. Haven't you ever asked a person who has been through the same things that your going through for their advise on how to fix it.
Why wouldn't the same approach work with your country, there are people in the past who have faced similar problems, why not ask them for their advise. You'll be surprised how well it can work, learn our countries history, and refer to it for the answers you seek.
