How to Help and Treat Newborn Kittens with Fleas

Newborn kittens with fleas can be dangerous if not treated. The fleas can suck the blood out of them making them suffer from anemia. You want to treat them as soon as possible .

Here are a few simple ways:

Get some cotton balls and dab where there are fleas with rubbing alcohol( hold on area for 10 secs each)

You can also use lemon juice from a fresh lemon and dab with a cotton ball

Aloe gel

Baby wipes

You can give them a bath as soon as they reach 4 weeks old .. you will want to use dawn dish soap: it works wonders. Or any dish soap with lemon. Use a rag when washing the kitten and always cover with warm blanket afer the bath.

To avoid a major problems around the house use a flea spray product on furniture, and use a powder on the carpet . This will keep them under control.
